Separate the paperwork into three areas

Check PEA/MEA grid connection, ERC energy notifications or licensing, and local building/structural requirements. Exemption from one license does not exempt the project from every requirement.

• State in the contract who submits documents and pays fees.
• Check approval status and the authorized party against the actual installation.
• Obtain design and inspection records before operating under the applicable conditions.

Installing panels does not automatically grant export rights

The existing 2026 MyEnergy research snapshot describes surplus purchase at 2.20 THB/kWh for 10 years with offered export capacity up to 5 kW per meter. Verify current eligibility, quota and your own contract. Export revenue is disabled by default in the calculator.

Recheck before adding panels or batteries

Expansion or equipment changes can affect approved designs and existing contracts. Notify the utility before proceeding. Do not cancel an existing export agreement merely to seek a new scheme without checking eligibility.
